Speaking from the point of view of the consumer, trying to digest all of the terminology used within the stone business can be quite daunting. Truth be known, owners and employees of many fabricating companies can’t even verbalize the differences, the real differences, between granite and marble. We at The Stonery believe that it should be a base requirement for us to provide the consumer with simple and concise definitions of the stones with which we work. It makes little sense to us to ask you to invest thousands of dollars in our work if we cannot simply inform you about the product we’re trying to sell you. Of course, we’d like to think that this maxim also applies to our competitors.
