Regardless of the size and scope of any particular project, all projects undertaken by The Stonery follow the exact same procedural path. We do not deviate from our procedures. While some may perceive this policy as rigidity inconsistent with good “customer service,” experience has shown us that exceptions and departures from a company’s standard operating procedures will ultimately result in decreased efficiencies, delayed schedules, hurried employees, errors, higher prices, and unhappy customers. The bottom-line is that our operating procedures exist for the benefit of our customers, all of our customers.
If we’re fortunate enough to earn your business, then the following is a sequential look at how your project will proceed…

If your project is a remodel requiring the removal of existing countertops, then we will coordinate with the “tear-out” contractor and/or the plumbing contractor in an effort to minimize the disruption of your household. In most cases, but not all, the removal of the old tops will take place in the morning, we will install your new granite countertops in the afternoon, and the plumber will follow-up the next day to complete the process.
Following these procedures, The Stonery will install the vast majority of its projects within seven to ten days from the time of Final Approval. Again, we hope that our firmness of schedule is not viewed as being contradictory to good customer service. Please understand that we are far more concerned with being able to meet the schedule we present our customers with, instead of making promises that we may very well not be able to meet. While The Stonery does not embrace “yes” as a customer service mantra, we are determined to earn your trust.
